Premium cellular trail cameras for reliable intel.

Origins

Humble beginnings.

After a career in tech, Ben Vander Velden wanted more. As a life-long hunter, he wanted better, simpler technology. He wanted to help create jobs in his community. He wanted to build a business that wasn’t “corporate” and didn’t have shareholders to appease. He wanted to establish something meaningful that his kids could be a part of. So he left his career in tech and started building Yellowstone.ai with his brother.

A better trail camera experience

We’re not trying to be the biggest. Instead, our goal is to provide superior technology and great customer support at a price everyone can afford.

Proof

How do we compete with "the big guys" that are owned by investment firms?

When we started, we were too small for shareholders, fine print, and overseas call centers. Since then, thousands of hunters have switched to Yellowstone. That has not changed how we operate; as we grow, our family business will always be too small for shareholders, fine print, and overseas call centers. Customers come first. That’s how we compete.
